///exit●fake●news

Queueing is so boring, but it can be made more interesting by collecting the what3words of each 3 metres you walk through and enjoying the random combinations. We were slowly climbing the Empire State Building. I remember a quicker queue in the 70s when New York was threatening and as a family we were scared.

Of all the phrases I collected as as I queued in Trump’s 2019s New York City: ///exit●fake●news seemed extraordinarily apt and impossible to forget.

This piece was made in response to the Studio 21 exhibition challenge to work with the what3words address names of locations that were important to or resonate with you.
